It's the week of Friday the 13th and no one's luck in this novel has improved at all. Lucy continues to fade away, and Van Helsing desperately tries to save her from not just Dracula, but her own mother's attempts to get rid of her garlic flowers. Additionally, we suggest that vampire hunters should start more restaurants with lots of garlic recipes.
